what is the trim level of a cargo van I assume base?
my van is basicelly a RV what is it's trim level?
amazon has 2 choices LS or base. last part I ordered window motor they sent or I ordered the wrong part so I'd like to get my next order correct.
I have purchased enery suspension bushings in past
should I get greaseable bushings here's what I'm concidering>
ok did the vin decode kindof good resourse of infor. either I missed the trim or gm skipped it. then again gm only provides cargo info.
attached my vin decode w/out trim
like what is trim anyways. your proballey right as usalle
base & LS have same bushings
what is base trim? what is LS trim?
but I want to order the correct parts, this banging bar is kindof embarrassing ppl think I cruising around in a pile of crape when they hear the banging. I know van is still safe.
I'm thinking the cargos trim is base? thanks
I believe that's the first trim level above base. Some bells and whistles.
If you want to know specifics then do a web search for the brochure from that year.

order it from rockauto.com
It will not ask for your trim, which doesn't matter.
Or get it wherever you like and pick any trim because .... It doesn't matter.

It's a bit more likely to roll over.

cargo means it's for cargo. No seats/seatbelts/airbags in the back. No rear hear. No rear interior trim. No fancy floor, and usually no windows.
I'm pretty sure Cargo vans still come with different trim packages.

I believe this van is actually a cargo, it has after market everything inside windows seats no rear heat ect.it doesn't even have the inside lights dimmer just under the tow button, it does have the inside lights dimmer located where headlights switch is.
kindof want to order from amazone bc w/ this order I'll get free shipping on the other stuff I currently have in cart.
so are the greasable bushings more desirable over the regulars?
I thought I was buying a 04 model vin decoder says 04 however the title says 05
I know chinook RV co. use's a previous year model.
bringing van home the wind wasn't extreme but gusts where up to 15mph and pushed the van hard, seamed alot more than the conversion was pushed in similar conditions. will new bushings improve the wind pushing van sideways?
I thought the sway bar was for improved turn handling.
update recieved the new bushings & end links I ordered the engery suspension greaseable.
crawled under van the other day the bushings I recieved where 1 1/4" there to small.
I actually chatted w/ engery susp. the lady told me she couldn't confirm 1 1/4" would fit bc there are so many sway bars available for these vans she wanted me to crawl back under there and mearsure the bar, what a load of crapola.
when I test fit the bushing there was a 1/4" gap so I assumed I needed 1 1/2"
looked at advance auto.com they had moog 1 5/16" which is almost 1 1/2" it was the largest bushing available.
edit: I also ordered the endlink bushings w/ bolt & tube thought these where changed same time the bushings where mine aren't flatened out but ordered anyway since the bar was being removed.
wrong part again the bolt & tube where 1/2 the required lenght.
edit2:I found there isn't a top nut on end link bolt. there is suposed to be a top nut and a bottom nut either side had this top nut. is the express endlink bushings differnt from cars where ther isn't a top nut? thanks
additional infor the man at advance said the trim level is on the vehicles title, so I report back on that. he also mentioned better know the trim bc like for example alot of parts are differnt like brakes.I hate crawling underthere to find out I have the wrong parts.
please don't tell me I have the wrong size sway bar bushings. I think I got the largest size Moog 1 5/16" I actually asked the auto store man for a micrometer to mearsure hole.
rock auto doesn't have a larger size.
I may have to cut off the end link bushings long bolt & tube due to no nut on top of bolt.
this van had lower ball joints installed 8K mile ago so maybe the nuts where broke during the BJs. the top bushing doe's appear a tad flattened?
