Hi! I have just bought an '05 Express 1500. In fixing all the little issues, today I replaced the driver's door lock switch because the old was broken. Prior to fixing this button, the passenger door would lock the cab doors but not the cargo doors (which I guess is normal). Now by using the driver's door lock button, ALL the doors lock as they should which is good EXCEPT since I didn't get a FOB with the van, the key will NOT operate ANY of the manual lock cylinders. The key WILL operate the manual cylinders as long as I do not use the power locks.

Any suggestions will help. Thanks in advance.

 

I'm not sure I understand. If you use the button to lock it the key will not unlock the doors? The key turns a manual linkage inside the door. Unless they did something goofy on these years.
