Hello! I have a 93 G20 that has a Gaval conversion, I just wanted to check if its normal for the front reading lights to only turn on with one of the doors open. With the auto Interior lights switch off they don't turn on with the switch on the lights or with the doors opening. With the switch on they will turn on only when a door is open and they can be turned off with the switch next to the light. I suppose what I was hoping I would be able to do is turn them on with the switches on the lights with the doors closed.

If you rotate the headlight **** to full on, do they work then?

Possible they cheaped out on a separate power source so they can be turned on any time
