Default 2000 Express Van 5.7 Oil Pan

Good day all,
I have a 2000 Express Van 1500 (conversion) with the 5.7. I need to drop the oil pan to replace the oil pump/oil pickup tube. I need to know if I can do all of this without pulling the engine or dropping the transmission. I am unsure if I have enough clearance to slide the oil pan out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Default oil pan 2000 express

I just changed the oil pan on my 2000 5.7 didnt have any issues with clearance pan pulled off real easy. I removed the flywheel inspection cover to get access to the back bolts thought about droppin the exhaust but the pan came off without it. Remove the oil lines by the oil filter to gain access to some pan bolts other then that use sealer on the front and rear of the oil pan to prevent oil leaks corners tend to leak on these.

Good Luck.

Did it today. No issues at all. Didn't remove ANYTHING but the pan. New high flow oil pump, pickup, and sending unit. 26PSI at idle. Awesome
