Does anyone have them? My Haynes manual doesn't have them but I've seen other forums for big duallys have them around 115 ft-lbs.

This is a 2004 Express 3500 cutaway used for an '05 Coachman RV, with the 6.0 engine and dually rear. Full floating axle and bolts in question pointed to in picture.

Out of curiosity, where did you get them? I've looked for factory maintenance manuals but haven't found one. I had one for my old Honda Civic and it was amazing. I've always found the Haynes manuals to be a little lacking, or at least maybe not as spelled out for total noobs like me. There's sometimes assumed knowledge or detailed instructions then, "draw the rest of the owl".

 

hanyes may not tell you this...if you had the hub off....on install, prefill the hub with diff fluid then install the outer bearing and perform the bearing preload procedure.

Correct, it did not but I watched a lot of videos that did. I mainly got the Haynes for the torque specs which home mechanics don't always cite in their otherwise extremely helpful YouTube videos.

 

I didn't pre-fill the hub. I'm not quite that smart... But I did grease the bearings just in case when I had my 14-bolt FF apart. Is it difficult to have the oil not leak out when reassembling?
