2006 Express 3500 Duramax EBCM Service
The EBCM is buried. It’s above the cross member, inside the frame rail, and boxed in by fuel hx to the front, fuel filter on the inside, and fuel/water separator to the rear.
Has anyone removed the ECBM? I’m thinking to cut a hole in the floor and go in from above.
work required because the EBCM is dragging down the class 2 data communications.

The DFCM (diesel fuel conditioning module) can be unbolted, it's 2 or 3 13mm bolts and moved out of the way.
Then you will be able to access the 4 Torx screws on top of the EBCM to remove the electronic box only, leave the valve block in place.
