I have a 1 ton van with a 4.8 L engine. It’s in a commercial use situation. I had 400,000 roughly on the engine and one of the valves went out and then the oil pressure dropped. I could not get a crate engine, as many of you probably already know. I had to buy a rebuilt engine and it did not break in well and uses oil. I kept my old core and seem to be having trouble finding parts to rebuild the core. Is there any suggestions on where I can find parts for this 4.8 L

I'd suggest you year it down, clean it up, and inspect everything first. With the oil pressure issue it might have a grooved up crank and you might need a new head. It would be good to know how much you need to replace before you buy a rebuild kit. https://www.importapart.com has used parts. I only know about his website because I watch his YouTube channel tearing down engines, @I_Do_Cars. I've never bought anything from him. That said it's an LS... parts are all over the place for those. Try Summit Racing or Jegs for performance parts and stock replacement, and rockauto or Amazon for all the other little stuff.
