On my new 84 G20 Diesel Van when I crawl under, I see fluid sprayed al over, from behind the radiator to the engine. I have not yet tried to determine what it is or where it is coming from.
It appears to begin near where the transmission connects to the radiator.

Any ideas where to start?

Clean it up and see where it is leaking. When I had my G30 diesel it was notorious for leaking oil where from the oil cooler lines. They run from the engine to the radiator.. oil circulates through. Could also be the transmission cooler lines.

 

My whole front end has oil on it from those stupid oil cooler lines.
