I have 1993 Chevy g20 van that has a bad steering column and I was wondering g if there is a compatible steering column in other Chevy vehicles my local scrap yard doesn't have any g20 vans for parts to pull so I was wondering if any one knew if there is any other steering columns that are compatible it isn't a tilt steering column but it does have a tilt lever spot just never had a tilt handle on it or a slot in the plastic housing

 

Should be any chev gmc van from about 81 to 95....have you broadened your search?

 

Any ideas? I'm looking for a used replacement so I don't have to order a new one if that's even still possible

 

...lol. That was my idea. You said there were no g20 vans at the scrap yard, but are there any chev or gmc vans at all? How about other wreckers?

 

OK so should be any Chevy or GMC van between 81 and 95

 

Actually, the third generation van body style came out in 71.....up until 96.
The steering column is prob the same though those years......You will have to check.

What did you find out on compatible columns my sister has a 94 chevy van g20 and I found a 91 chevy van g20 coulmn hoping it will work
