Adding side mirror glass with turn signal to stock mirror + Euro side marker lights

On eBay they have the replacement "arrow" mirrors for many cars at $15 each ,
But none for our vans !
They do have the arrow LEDs only that they say you can install behind your own mirrors ,
I wonder how it shines thru the back of the mirror ?
the small ones are only $1 each like in the photo , but they sell larger ones too
How tall is the stock Chevy express van Arrow ?
