Default Anyone deal with broken exhaust manifold bolts?

Been hearing this intermittent ticking, many times after restarting. Saturday pulled the doghouse off and sure enough the rear 2 bolts were broken and it would vent at times. The best thing I could think of was to fab a bracket that bolted on the back of the head that drew the manifold tight to at least protect that and stop leak for now.

I remember seeing a couple of commercial products that do just this.

I guess that I was cool and didn't even know it! All I knew was pulling the manifold was not going to be an option, it would have been a bugger to extract w/o .
