I agree with it in that distortion is the main killer of speakers. But the human ear cannot hear the lower amounts of distortion. It can only be truly done with a DVM and test tones. Your inquiry has made me go fix a link to test tones in the tutorial I posted. It's good now. And it's fairly simple. Just follow the instructions in that link.

welcome to the forum... but this is not the place for your problem you
will probably not get the best results in this thread....
there are other forum headings more suitable for your post.
this is mainly for EXPRESS and SAVANNA VANS.......
but honestly it sounds as if you have a DEAD SHORT to POWER.,
thas a problem that is not too common sometimes the Relays
that control the fan gets hot and burns in the On position...
possibly the Switch as well...
its gonna take some time to diagnosis. thats for sure..

Thanks Dan... Appreciate that....
kinda again.. more of the throw back to the
70's style they had spoilers on the custom vans
back in the day... I will be doing other things in the
future provided I can find the parts.
I have a list of things I am wanting to do as upgrades....
then others might not consider them upgrades...
could be just customizing.. I guess.

Stan.... for sure..... just have not decided on which one yet... they made 2 versions. With and without lights. They now have the small LED inserts... small round lights.
But 1 of my upgrades ive been thinking about are the Recon
Smoked lens amber led roof lights that are on the GMC duallys.... so ive been leaning towards the visor with no lights. I figure rather than dropping my headliner down several more times i would buy the visor and roof lights and install at the same time. And just drop my headliner 1 more time.
In order to install the spoiler i has to drop the insulation and roof woof for the hedliner.
