Here is a little preview... of another feature that will be installed in the van ......
I just had to have it when I found it ( color ) .. lol
I will be building an enclosure that will encase the lamp...
and all you will see will be the glass... I have it all drawn out.
and other ideas that I have for the back of the van.
just have to remember I have to keep this were I can
actually get one of my big planes in as well...

12V I assume? Clearly, you are in a warmer climate than I. In about a week, the NWS predicts a frigid front entering the area, and one of those would never warm up enough to float the wax. But it's way kewl.

BTW, the engine was off by the time I took that pic. I can't explain the other readings. And I sure as hell can't explain the HP reading.

Congrats StanVan on becoming a "Senior Member", with your 300th post. Teammuir1 could use an inverter for 110 volt power. I installed an oil drain valve today because the pan plug comes out the side (2008 Express 1500 4.3), you can imagine the oil squirting out a foot or two sideways when draining, a real mess if you change your own oil.

An inverter will be installed.. as well as a shore power plug.
I will be able to run all the acc I want to using my Inverter generator
plugged into the Van as well.
if I am in a remote area were I dont have 110 hook up I will be using my
3700 generator.
It will power my trailer and van.
I am thinking about being able to switch from 12 volts to inverter to
generator to inverter. just have not thought that far ahead yet...
based on how I am gonna build the boxes in the back I will be able to
run my wires at any time without taking things apart;
what I have not told or showed .. I have been keeping my van
warm in these cooler days and nights.. I have a oil filled heater that I place
in the middle of the van...

They look good. I'd be concerned about visibility. Get that back up camera. It makes a world of difference.

I was about to give you a hard way to go regarding your weather, but I googled it, and you're only about 5 degrees warmer than I am. So, you dodged that one.

STAN
.. I have decided.. that I will be covering the back windows..
from the inside.. like I did on the side doors...
I dont use the rear view mirror in my GMC Truck.. just the side mirrors..
I have a custom topper with dark tinted windows... so I am accustomed
to only using the side mirrors.
and again .. it resembles that throw back to the 70's look.
