Guys I have not had any time to do any more upgrades here lately...
Trust me I have been ordering things,.. but some turn of events
have taken place... MY father came to our house Tuesday
showed up at our door step trying to get in using his own key...
him thinking he was at his own house... well...
after my wife answered the door and he came in ..... he was
not acting like his own self...
Well long story short.. HE had a Heart attack... along with that
they think he had a stroke as well.. ( to be determined ) by yet
more tests and another MRI... along with a Lumbar Puncher...
any ways guys I have not had the opportunity to work on
my van ... I am missing it ... I really want to get out there...
but as they always say.. ( Family comes first )....

The tires that are on there currently are 245x70x17 . I dont know how much other Bronze things will be added to the van yet. However i did add the Weldtec Designs aluminum leveling spacer up front along with Fox shocks to even out the appearance. In the rear i also added one of their new overload spring replacements. It made the rear not ride so harsh over any bump.

Before;

After:

It raised up the front a little over 2"

Not a fan of lifting. I'm already too tall for many of the garages I need to get in to. Add 3", and I couldn't get in to the rest of them.

Is it me, or do you only mention Weldtec? Literally half of your posts drop their name, and no one else's.

Next I will be lifting it along with adding Fox Shocks.
Hey stan if you would like we can talk about flying drones in a best upgrade thread........ or i could show you a really nice set of Method Race wheels that i had installed! Lifting a van might not be for you but i think it looks way better then the stock church bus...... Yes the guys at weldtec designs have been very help full in helping me build my van. I added FOX shocks and they made a big difference in ride quality, that might be something that reader here might find beneficial. Maybe you might want to look into some of the stuff they sell for your van?
Thanks
I will be sure to add more pics when I add more goodies to my van.

I will be looking for a lift kit within a year or so. I'm not sure if customs would let me bring back a modified vehicle over the border though. How much do you know about it?

Default Florida

I am here in Florida... and sure enough just like last year I got the blame for
bringing some cold air with us... lol...
I have found a few more events that will be taking place before the Big Jet meet...
So I believe we will drive down to Cape Coral Florida.
for a Giant Scale fly in Cape Coral RC Fly-In Information
should be a good event, I will post some pics.

Default Things to think about.....

I guess since I have not been steady on this forum here in the late past that I have missed out on
some comments and activity... that has been said... I have had alot going on here of late...
and not really working on my van at the time since back in Ky it was cold and snowing and raining.
but back to my point....
I started this thread and though it is marked as Best Upgrades done.. I really dont mind talking
about things that I am interested in .. hence its MY THREAD.... This Van I own is not my Passion...
if anyone knows me by now they had to have visited my web site ... and they then know were my
Passion lies. Thus the reason for me Buying the My Van in the first place....so at any time if I or any
one else ( STAN ) wants to talk about Drones or Airplanes... I am all for it.... ITS MY THREAD...
if someone wants to try to Hi jack My thread I can Delete your post like it was not even there.
I am for the most part an easy guy to get along with ......This thread has really taking off in a
variety of different places and I am fine with that until it begins to look like an advertisement for
some company that maybe someone works for .... it you want to advertise.. go for it... nothing
wrong with that.. Just go make up your own thread and exploit whom ever you want and how you
want.... I think ( Stan ) was saying ( 983_vanbuilder ) you sure are up ( Weldtec ) azz cause you mention
them so much ... it sure seems to alot of us that maybe you work there ..... and trying to get the name out
or something.. which again all well and good if your mentioning them... but come on it sure seems like
your doing some advertising for them lol... so make your own thread up if all your wanting to do
is advertise for them.... See how many posts you get... cause people dont really care for having advertising
pushed in their faces. I dont.
