You would think, being digital and all, that BCMs would flash the same speed regardless of the load.
I find blue LEDs extremely unpleasant. I like daylight (4000-5000 kelvin) for task lighting, when I really need to see what I'm doing. Warm light (~3000k) for ambient lighting. Map lights should be quite warm so they don't kill your night vision. You don't want to have to wait another 30mins for your eyes to adjust.

With reading all the issues people were having with the LED lights in the exterior
I opted out of using them ( I could benefit from them with me having smoked
lenses ) .... If I knew I could away with using them with out adding any resistor
or modifying the wiring I would in a heart beat...

I figure if I ever had put in the resistors, and had to go back to regular bulbs, I'd have to remove the resistors. Not worth the hassle.
And when I say blue, I'm talking actually blue, not the "cool" white. Wallymart has them. Odd color to have, but that's how I made the mistake.

Stan
on a side note..
I have new head lights and marker lights for my GMC truck that I ordered
a week ago... I was thinking of NEW light bulbs. when you say BLUE.. are you
still talking the LED... or are you talking the head light bulb... cause I am thinking
about getting new ones ...
I bought for the Caddy the Ultra Bright White from Autozone.... those are VERY
bright... white... I actually was thinking of getting ultra HD kit for my truck and making
them VERY bright... wonder has any one done this their van... with the headlight
system you have... I am sure they make a kit just wondering if they are worth the
purchase... and if you have one to go out how much for a replacement.. I bet
you cant just go to autozone for one of those head light bulbs ?

I thought you got LED headlights for Elmo.
But no, I'm talking interior LED lights. Not in the dome(center), but the spots (both sides) in the very rear, over the bed. You know, where one tends to get a bit blue. Bad pic, but a pic nonetheless.

I assume you're referring to HID headlights? I'd be curious as to how an aftermarket setup would work. HIDs came stock on my daughters Rogue. I've only seen stock HIDs in person, and I came to notice they don't have traditional high and low beams. Instead, the bulb itself moves to hit the reflector to achieve high and low. And also, there's a **** under the dash to adjust the beam height. I believe many people adjust them high, giving them that annoying factor, but I could be wrong.
Why wouldn't you just do the LED thing like you did in Elmo?
And when is the pickup scheduled for a red paint job?

I think you need to look no further. YOUR words, regarding the LEDs you got for Elmo, page 59, post 581 (despite the misspelled word!);
I let it go then, but what is a "dought"?
