Have a 2001 Express Van diesel when I start it up the daylights blink off and on and the headlights dim but when I turn on the headlights switch they stop blinking, when I turn on my high beams they will blink off and on until I turn off the high beams. Is it a short or a relay that is bad?

sounds like a ground problem had a van years ago doing similar had to run an extra ground to fix it

Thank for that advice now how did you run the new ground?

i went from the header panel they are mounted in to the battery built a 10 gauge wire with a terminal end put under a bolt and run back to the battery and connected to the pigtail on the ground.
i am prone to removing the stock bolts at the battery and using a 3/8 bolt and nut so i have somewhere to hook up extra wiring if they don't have an extra wire there stock
