bought a 1981 chevy van 20 need to identify engine model
II just bought a chevy van 20 1981 and runs well, the van came from canada riding and is now in south america (uruguay). I would like somebody to help me identify the engine exact model as I would like to chech for some parts (also if somebody can recomend best site to get Chevy parts, need a carb)
Also I would like to know if there's a chance to get the manual in pdf as I was not able to find it so far.

US models would have a sticker somewhere, on the radiator support, identifying the original engine size.
You can also look for an RPO code sticker, I think check the glovebox door, the visors, inside the doorjambs. It has a series of 3-letter codes and one will tell the engine.
Normally I'd say Rock Auto for parts but finding someone who will ship to you could be a problem.
