ok I am familiar.

How many cans did it take you, or how much did you spend?

I picked up 3 cans but haven't used it yet. There isn't much salt in SoCal.

@lovevans: I will get some pictures of our van, from up north here in Minnesota. You definitely have nothing to worry about on your van.
@Triaged: Thank you for the tip on the CRC 06026 Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor. I'm going to give that a try here.

The frame literally rots out in New York. That rust is nothing.

Hi, I'm new to the forum - been doing some reading on here and it seems like a good community - I have a similar question to the OP

I have just bought a low mileage 2004 Chevy van that I really dig, and getting some minor body work done

The guy has asked if I want undercoating - extend the life of the vehicle etc.
Not many people here seem to think it is worth it, but honestly some of the underside is looking a little ropey.
I probably won't get it done with this guy - I'll go to Ziebart
But wondering if y'all had any thoughts

Thanks

--Sean

My opinion hasn't changed. Undercoating still isn't worth it. Keeping it clean is.

Those spring perches might need some attention in a couple years time.
