so if my airbag module was programmed without curtain airbags and i used a body harness from a passenger van with curtain airbags.it wouldnt light up the airbag light???i am trying to add power windows,and lock to my truck and this was the only harness available....

 

I have removed my passanger seat in my 2022 chevy express van for storage in my work van. Air bag lights keep popping up in message center on dash. Is there any way to delete or bypass this. I will keep the seat for resale however in the meantime the airbag light is on and an error message that says the airb
ags need to be serviced pop up each time I start the vehicle.

 

Lots of discussion here with no solution given. What a shame. Yes, there are bypass devices that can be purchased on eB-y so go check it out.
