Hi everyone. Glad to be here. Glad to find a group dedicated to Chevy vans. So I've done tons of searching trying to find the side door check strap for my 1990 Chevrolet G20 Conversion van. I have the swing style side doors. I have the metal strap that attaches to the door but the hinge it connects to at the body is destroyed and want to replace it so the door doesn't swing wildly. I know finding replacement parts for a van this old is probably futile but if anyone might be able to advise me where i can find a decent replacement or even the original strap assembly that would be great.
