Climate Control Not Working

sounds like you have some janky connections from vibration or something. Maybe grounding points have corroded, or rodents got into your wiring.

We bought this thing new and for over a year it was all you could expect. Then one day, the instrument cluster started shutting down intermittently. The Chevy dealer found the chafed wire, fixed it and called it good. That lasted a bit over a year before doing it again. They reflashed the BCM and pulled the radio out claiming the radio was putting a load on the buss!
Bottom line, there is something amiss somewhere, just can’t find out where! Maybe another chafed wire, maybe a sketchy fuse panel, maybe a flaky ground who knows.

Yeah I get the impression that the cutaway models are plagued with wiring problems.
There are many grounds. gmupfitter.com has routing diagrams that will show you all of them.

I went through all 900+ pages yesterday and didn’t see the actual grounding locations…I’ll take another look at it today. If nothing else, I may run additional ground wires tying the body, frame and engine together.

I did pay better attention this time and identified the grounds and their locations. And as you mentioned, there are several and are located everywhere!
