I just purchased a 1978 Chevy van. Looks and runs great. Only thing that did not work was the cruise control (it has a tilt steering wheel with the cruise control button on the end of the turn signal lever)...anyway I pulled the engine cover off this morning to check out why it was not work and it is because there is no factory cruise control mounted on the engine..........so can anyone tell me what years of chevy trucks (vans, pickup's, etc.... used the same cruise control? I came across a cruise control system out of a 1987 Suburban but it does not look like the cruise control parts that are shown in the 1978 Truck shop manual I have...........thanks
