Those buttons are used for when you are towing a big load. You can manually select a gear. For example if you need to down shift to get speed before a big hill

Don't waste your time on that antenna, Brain. There's only a 50/50 chance it isn't totally damaged at the split. Those connectors aren't that good when they're new. I hate those crimp on ones.

I ordered shocks today. Chris Lieberman suggested these to smooth out the ride, so it's a little less "truck" like. A tough trick for a 3500 long wheelbase, but Chris hasn't steered me wrong yet.

They won't be here in time for my next road trip (Ocean City on Friday), but I'll have them on and well tested by my Memorial Day camp trip.

Chris says it's like day and night, how it smooths out the ride. It'll be a couple weeks before I can get them on, as I'm in Ocean City, Friday to next Friday, and they don't get here until after I leave.

As to fitment, Chevy and GMC fit the same, according to Rock. Fronts '03 to '16, rear '96 to '16. My guess is that yours aren't as stiff as mine, due to age. Mine is fairly annoying to me, and Da Wife has complained.

Bound to get warmer soon. I'm working to get ready for O.C. on Friday, but when I get back on the 13th, It's all about the Memorial Day Weekend camp trip. Projects include lighting and a side shelf beside the bed. And the boat. And the shocks. And whatever life throws at me.

Guy's first trip/cruise/fishing expedition to GOM w/ new tow vehicle 07 saab 97x great midsized SUV tow rating 6500LBs.

looks strange the 97x been much shorter than the tallish, vessel is well over 13' high.

I would very much like to install opening windshield on vessel open when towing closed when cruisei.

the spare tire carrier underneth the 97x is jammed up can I get a holder off another vehilce maybe a more heavey duty carreir from truck these' car isn' t any room to store spare inside.

Many questions.
1) GOM?
2) That little thing tows 6500lbs?
3) is that the vessel in the background?
4) Maybe most important, is the Express okay?

I'm sure that a mechanic with mad skills might get some other spare tire winch in there, but it would be cost prohibitive. As for the window thing, I'm guessing you want to reduce wind resistance?
