Default List of CEL codes on a '06 Chevrolet Express 6.0L

Hi,

I was able to get the codes out of the van after fixing the power on the OBD connector. Here is what's coming up:

p0300
p0122
p0059
p0430
p0152

First of all, why so many codes on a van with 50,000 miles? Geez. Next, anyone tell me what each code refers to? And finally, any suggestions on where to start?

Seems incomplete

I'd heard one theory on this that the alternator is not properly regulating voltage causing all these codes.

No symptom description, no vehicle history, no freeze frame data, I don't see how you get to that diagnosis from just the codes.

No scanner yet so I can't provide any freeze frame data. Symptoms are that vehicle seems to be running lean, lack of power and running poorly on initial startup. After running for several minutes it seems to get better but still occasional stumbling and missing. I had read about someone having similar issues with a long list of codes elsewhere and that's where I'd got that suggestion. Many of the codes do suggest high or low voltage issues.

Or, the CEL has been on for a while. It started out with a bank 2 pre-catalyst O2 sensor or its circuit problem. It was ignored (people do dumb things) and now the bank 2 catalytic converter is cooked. P0300 is probably against the even numbered cylinders. Along the way, the throttle position sensor or its circuit went south. This the owner really took notice.

CEL's have been on for about a month and a half. Not that long really. I wouldn't think you'd burn up a cat that quick. I think we plan to clear the codes and take a new reading the minute the CEL pops up again. I think the TPS is probably one I could address right away so I will look at ordering one of those.

P0059 HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0122 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low Input
DTC P0300 Engine Misfire Detected
DTC P0430 Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2
DTC P0152 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 1

Just making notes to myself. I tend to do this...

Any recommendations on O2 sensors? AC Delco, Bosch, Denso etc?
