Default lower control arms

Hi all. I have 1987 G20 van that needs new lower control arms. I found some new but they want $182 a piece. Are there any pickup truck lower control arms that are interchangeable with the ones on my van ? Thanks for your help

Can you just change the bushings and use the old control arms?

The problem with your thinking is that if there's a part from another vehicle that fits, it's usually the same part number and price.

Rock Auto has arms much cheaper, and bushings real cheap.

I have thought about changing out the bushings but one of my main problems is when you put a Jack underneath the control arm, the ball joint wants to drop and I don't believe there is a fix for that, is there ? Also, I have checked Rock Auto and they do not sell the lower control arms for the G20 .

They don't actually call it a "lower"control arm.

I don't know if engine size makes a difference. I chose 5.0.

The ones Rock Auto sells are the upper control arms. I NEED the lowers which are completely different.

My mistake. They picture them upside down, making them look like lowers.
