Default Need some help identifying an electrical component on my 2000 V6 1500

Hello Hello

I've just completed an engine swap on my van, which was quite an adventure.

This evening I was re-assembling the front clip, bumper, headlights etc.
There is a component that looks like a ceramic/clay ring shaped insulator that is wired into the harness going to the headlight and running lights on the driver side. It is a single wire that comes out of the harness and is separately wrapped in the corrugated tubing, about 13 inches in length. The wire loops through this ring and goes back into the harness. A closed loop. The hole in the ring looks like it may be a mounting point for it and there is a worn/blackened grove/channel on one side, I assume the bottom, that is u-shaped and about the diameter of the brake line coming out of the master cylinder.

I have no memory of removing this from anything, but it is so closely connected to the lights that it must be from that area. I cannot find anything remotely close to it in any searches over the past hour. I am not sure what to call it other than an insulator...it feel coarse like pumice.

Too dark now to get a pic, but if no one here knows what it is right off, I'll post a pic in the morning.
There is a number on it but nothing came up in a search: IRC D010 6(ohm symbol) 12135182

Curious to see if someone here knows what this thing is and where it goes. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
