I have a persistent rich mixture situation, I replaced the coolant temp sensor, and the MAP sensor. No change. I’m thinking to get an entirely new throttlebody assembly. I rebuilt mine about 10 years ago, I’m not sure I did everything ideally though it did seem to run OK.

On my recent work of replacing the intake manifold gasket, there were times when I had to reach forward for something and I would rest one arm on top of the throttlebody for balance. It occurred to me that some of my weight was on the injectors. There is a chance I abused something.

I don’t like to spend large on parts, thinking that will do the trick, but this could be a good upgrade anyway.
