Default New VAN in house

I loved so much our first van that when I saw thee oportunity to get our second I juste couldnt resist. 2006 beuty ay home

BUT.

Is not new so she has some minor issues to work on. First is oil presure. It goes all the way up with switch un acc. I assume it's the oile presure sensor.

Same, it wont change. It reads max with acc. on, and statys max when engine idle or highway speed.

In most cases it is the sending unit. It could also be a short in the wiring, but since a sending unit is not expensive, I would change that and check the wiring.

Excellent, thanks!
Only problem, AFAIK, the sender unit is all the way into the engine bay, isnt it? I have to completly disamble the VAN

No, just take the doghouse off, I would imagine it's on the rear of the distributor like previous engines.

Yes, but this, been a conversion van, has some items to remove before the dog house. Not that much work, just being a drama queen lol.

So yes, it was the oil presure sensor. Replaced. All happy campers.
