Default No front passenger audio

I have a 2002 Express 1500 LT. There are two speakers in both the driver and passenger front doors, and one pair of left and right speakers mounted in the ceiling in the passenger compartment. The rear and driver side speakers work, but neither speaker in the front passenger door works. I do get an intermittent loud, jarring crackle from the passenger mid-range speaker.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Could be anything from the speaker is shot to the wires going to the speaker are damaged to the radio has issues.

A lot of these speakers are junk, I put a set of rears in the 2002 3500 I had and they quit after a while, and the ones in my 2500 are noisy.

By the way, some of the high end audio have a tweeter in the pod where the power window buttons would be, too. My 2500 had the wiring for it, but the set I added produced no sound, so I presume you also need the high end radio.
