What the highest mileage you ever got from a Chevy express with original engine with basic maintenance?

 

We had a couple go 300,000 and still ran well when the rust did them in. 95 C1500 with a 5.0 and a 99 K1500 with a six.

But I watch a youtube channel out of Oklahoma, a guy who flips cars, and he sees high 200K's all the time, and has run across a couple with over 500,000.

So I would think 500K is possible if you're somewhere where there's no road salt, and you don't abuse the vehicle.

 

I've seen 4.8 go into the 400000 kilometer range
