I haven't been able to located rear spring loaded shocks for my 2007 2500 Express. No auto stores or internet search has turned up anything. Also, Is there a way to grease the front wheel bearings without removing the bearing assembly. The Van has 169,000 on it and I'm becoming concerned about the bearings. No noise or slack, I'm just a maintenance freak.

 

I doubt your bearings are serviceable, and certainly not something you do in-place. It will likely be a sealed unit, possibly even integral with the hub assembly.

Lift the wheel off ground and grab it with both hands and try to rock it back and forth. If there's no slop and there's no strange noises then your bearings are fine.

 

If you have the removable rotors that are separate from the hubs, the bearings are non serviceable. You cannot grease them. They are only good for about 100 000 kms so If you have never replaced them, they are due. The bearings that are inside the hub/rotor from the dawn of time last forever and can be repacked over and over. (what nonsense just to get east to remove rotors.)
Are these the shocks you mean?
They are for the 1500 but will still fit. Just check the load ratings....

I'm the original poster inquiring about the spring loaded rear shocks for my 2007 2500 express. I now have a new user name. I simply could not locate the spring loaded shocks, but one auto store suggested that the 3500 model would possibly work. I never did follow thru on that. However this morning I went back on the net and did a more thorough search and found these at AutoZone. The price was $33 and change. Took about an hour to install and for my purpose work great. And they are somewhat adjustable. It raised the rear 3 inches and really stiffened it up. And they are removable should you no longer need them. Can be done without removing the tires.

I really like this idea also because of the ease of installation. Questions:

Anybody out there install two per spring? Seems like this would balance the support on the spring.

Have you noticed any noise or creaking from them?

Yes, that's exactly what I installed. No noise of any kind.You might be correct about installing 2 per spring, but only if your load is in the van interior. My load is concentrated on the trailer hitch. I have a small tractor that weighs 2000 lbs and a few implements thats probably 6-700 more pounds. The trailer is 6.5 x 16 double axle. The sagging was mild but that weight created a lot of spongy bounce. The add ons eliminated all of it. I used the middle setting but if thats Your van pictured in Your post I would recommend the rear setting. The settings are explained in the instructions supplied. Thanks for the inquiry.
