Default Replace Dual manual side mirrors?

Hi. I got a 2011 express 1500 this summer, the base version, with no side windows. The lack of side windows is important because this is an ability to see issue.
I kinda hate the manual dual mirror, especially on the passenger side. I'd probably get used to it if it were electric and I could easily fiddle with the adjustment any time I want, but its not and I can't.
What I would really like to have over there is one big mirror that I could stick a spot mirror onto. Does anyone know of a single piece replacement side mirror for the express? Or maybe which vehicle would have what I want that will not look too out of place on my van?
Thanks!

You must not have the lowest options... Because there is a one piece mirror out there.
Amazon Amazon
I did the opposite and upgraded the passenger to one with a blinker and heated (after my wife bounced the old one off a parked F150). But mine had the double mirror and just upgraded to a different double mirror.

The mirrors from an 03 or earlier are all one piece and directly swap in.

I've looked into it and have been considering swapping since I don't like the double mirrors. I'd much rather have one piece of glass and add my own wide angle to it.

I could,t agree more - HATE the double mirror! I have a 2012 2500 - are the earlier single mirrors the same overall size?

That did not seem to be the case for me.

Or did you mean to say: "the mirrors from 03 or later"?

On my 2000 van the 2003+ mirrors have a smaller 'against the door' part and also a different mounting bolt pattern.

Someone with a newer van can purchase the 2003-2007 mirrors and swap them right over.

You're absolutely right. Thanks for catching that.

It's the 2003-2007 that are interchangeable with the newer vans and have one piece of glass. 2008 and up have the double mirror.

2002 and back are a different design all together.

Default Almost here!

I've ordered a 2003 mirror for my 2011 van and it may arrive today. $43 on Amazon. The swap looks super easy. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

Yeah, there's not much to it. Just pull off the plastic trim piece and remove the three nuts. Just don't let it drop.

I love how most things on these vans are very easy to work on.

I gave up on my towing mirror search. I am going to graft on some SS 'west coast' mirrors. One more advantage to owning a 2000 I guess. <g>
