Replacement fuel injectors
.. for the familiar throttlebody injection.
1989 G20, 5.0
Im not having any luck diagnosing my rich fuel problem. I sort of hate just replacing parts, but this truck 34 years old, imand while I did rebuild the throttlebody which one of the kids, I did not replace the injectors. When I did my recent job replacing the intake and valve cover gaskets, I sometimes rested my arm on top of the throttlebody, which meant a little bit of my weight was bearing on the injectors. Not a good idea, it can be frustrating balancing your weight while doing work inside the doghouse.
Long story short, Im finding overall range on prices. OReilly sells AC Delco units for $181 apiece.
They also offer a Python brand for $42 apiece.
Does anyone know a good budget aftermarket brand that would be acceptable? NAPA has a unit - they want about $120 apiece.
