Default Spring leafs starting to make noises

So my leaf spring are starting to make noises like a 20 year old truck. Wait, its a 20 year old truck. Lol.

Anyway. I put WD40 all the way I could and noise went away. For 2 weeks. Suspension shop tells me they need to undo everything to proper grease everything.

your thoughts in thai one?

Jaguar actually had a really gorgeous setup for this. Leather wraps, with hooks for lacing them with a leather cord. Early XK series cars had them, and you could get the leather in black, brown, or raw leather and have it it dyed by the dealership to match the paint. They also had a grease fitting on them to pump them full of grease.

Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, they also kept the squeaking at bay.

here is a whole thread on them where I liberated the info above

For those interested, I took the VAN for a heavy chasis wash, then applied teflon lubricant all over the place, 2 full cans on every sigle corner I could reach lol.

Noises went away, lets see how it lasts during this heavy rain season..

Just an update for those interested. No noises so far, looks like soaking all the suspension with teflon worked

At 20 years it is time for new springs on all 4 corners. Go park beside a 2020 model for comparison.

True... if someone here can chime in with your information will be great. I was wondering, in another post I showd pictures of the space betwen the suspension and the frame, didnt seem to be an issue.
