Default Trailer wiring issue

Ok my inlaws have a 05 Express van 3500. It has a trailer hitch but it didn't come with a plug. I looked around the rear and found a bundle of wires in the rear with no connector. Now I bought a connector to put on there but the wire colors don't match what is labeled on the connector, I checked the owners manual and there was a wiring pinout but the wire colors didn't match in their either. They look like factory wires and their colors are Brown, Dark Green, Light Green, Yellow, Red with black stripe, white, Dark blue with the last three being the thicker set of wires.

Anyone else run in to this? I'm stumped and can't seem to find any info about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
