Troubleshooting Service Park Assist message
Accidentally backed into a post, which crunched my bumper and caused a "Service Park Assist" message to pop up. I found that one of the park assist sensor wires was cut, so I spliced the wires and tested them with a multimeter. I get 8v at all four of the park assist module connections, so it seems like all four are sending power. But I still get the Service Park Assist message. So then I tried replacing the two sensors to either side of where the bumper was crunched, I still get the message.
Do I need to reset the Service Park Assist message somehow? I don't see the code on my cheap little OBDII reader. I can't find anything on the internet about this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You would have to read the BCM codes to get the code from the park assist, some OBD readers don't read the bcm by default. Could be as simple as clearing the BCM codes.
If the sensors are still out of alignment after the bumper getting "crunched" that could be causing the issue as well.
Beyond that, I don't know exactly what else to suggest. Here is the link to the service manual for that system.
