TV Wiring 2006 Explorer Conversion VAN
Unless someone here is familiar with Explorer conversions, it's difficult to say for sure. But that's a good bet, as there is a tap there under the drivers seat (at least on the newer vans). I'd be surprised if the speakers are powered.
I've seen a small amplifier when removing the speakers, which are next to the TV, which probably controls the two speakers next to the TV. The TV itself does not have enough output power, so it must be an amplifier installed.
In my current Explorer SE conversion van, and my StarCraft conversion van before that, the wiring for the tv and other accessories all terminate at the fuse box which is located on the left side of the van interior wall panel, behind the driver's seat. There should be a little "glove box" type door on the side wall near the floor between the driver's seat and the left rear passenger (captains) chair, and if you open it up you should see the fuse box.
