Default when will the express have a makeover?

So now that ford has the transit full size van out and dodge has the fiat van when will gm be doing there's? right now gm has the highest towing capacity for any full size van and room between the front seats is wider to put longer things between them which you can't do with these new unibody vans.

Does anyone know if they are going to make over the current van ?

Good topic...

Express/Savana is the only North American designed van remaining. Will be interesting to see if GM jumps on the Euro bandwagon or improves the current design. The Dodge/Fiat Vans are a bit odd looking. Haven't seen any big Transit vans on the road yet. Lots of Nissans and Mercedes. Surprised Toyota never built a van based off the Tundra platform.

As long as they don't get any taller. I am fed up with not being able to get into visitors parking to do a job. Stupid to have 6 foot 10 vans. I don't need that height. Just the length.

I don't know if they have 3 or 4 different size options like Nissan or ford, but this one obviously is to compete with the smallest transit van. I am also not too fond of all the Euro styling cues.

The biggest joke of all, is these new euaro vans cost more and get the same crap gas mileage.....plus you can't pull a 24 foot camper with that garbage...so what is the point?

It fills a need for many people. It is too small for my needs, but I see many plumbers/electricians drive them or the transit vans.

here is two NV's and the average is about 22mpg, so no way would any express van get close to that.

2013 Nissan NV200 MPG Reports | Fuelly

The express 1500's are lucky to get about 15. So these smaller vans are getting about 50% better.

Chevrolet Express 1500 MPG Reports | Fuelly

Again, not for me (I have a 3500), but definitely fits a need for many
