2015 with RPO code GAZ paint... standard boring white. Lookup says this is Olympic or Summit White. I have a few stone chips and want something for small touch-up. I also have some bigger issues up by the drip rail that will need to be sanded, primed, painted, wet sanded, and clear coated.
This is what I buy for touch-up. It matches perfectly.
I just bought another Olympic white the other day as a matter of fact.
It goes further than you think. Well worth the price.
Clear is included in the pen. Chrisfix has a nice video about how to get very nice results with this pen.
No , it's not a magic miracle wand. It cannot fix f***d up GM paint jobs.
CC = Color code.
8624 is the number you want.

Nothing.
You can barely notice it. The primer is intact so it's still protected.
If it ever gets bad enough, I may decide to repaint it.
Or maybe I'll just use a bead of white exterior window sealer, and blend it into the seam sealer already under the drip rail.
I ended up with the touch up pen kit from O'Reilly's. The manager took off a few bucks to make it more reasonable. I also got primer, matched white, and clear rattle cans. All said and done over $50. Just hoping I can make it not come off in sheets and not look like like garbage. I might try the pen this afternoon when it cools off some.
If you have a van with the peeling problem (where it comes off in large chunks), then none of those things you bought will help. The only cure is to sand it down, probably to metal, and repaint. Which nobody is going to do.

What have people used? Did it keep the rest of the paint around from failing?
Any tips on what clear to use?
Edit: I see there is another paint code at the bottom of the sticker... "BC/CC U 8624"
I once owned a 2007 Chevy cargo van. Summit White IIRC. Paint was peeling all over but mostly on the hood. It's likely you've seen other examples of this problem in Chevy cargo vans from that era. What worked best for me was the cheapest gloss white paint they sell at Home Depot. Back then it was $0.98 per spray can. Now it's around $2.49. I sanded lightly, feathered the edges and sprayed. It's was a very close match and did seem to arrest further peeling.
