I just bought my 2012 Chevy Cruze Eco 2 months ago and my Service Theft Deterrent System light has been coming on and my car won't start. If I let the car sit it will start in 5-10 minutes, Sometimes. I use my car for work cause I'm a Flagger for construction companies and NEED MY CAR. I just spent $2,000 for down payment and 2 months of payments and I don't have the money to fix this problem, actually I don't know what the problem is but I'm praying it's not over a couple hundred dollars cause I don't have it. Can you give me some ideas on what it could be??? Thank you, Kimberly

 

The first thing to do is read the codes from the car’s computer...that will point you in the right direction. Welcome to the forum!
