Default Help: Starting Problems 2005 silverado 1500

Hello: I'm having issues with my 05 silverado V6. The engine starts and comes to a rumbuling stop. I start the engine a second time and have to rev the engine for it to stay running, but as soon as I let up on the gas and allow it to go into Idle it comes to rumbuling stop. Now mind you this started out only happening when it had been running for an hour or so. But now has started when its just a cold engine. What I've had done: New oxygen senser, New PVC, New Rotor Cap Plugs and Wires. About three years ago I had a new fuel pump and fuel filter put in. This problem has been on going since last summer. One last thing, After driving it like this it seems to clear its self and run fine and I can even turn the engine off for a short period of time and start it with no problems. I have 172,500 miles on the truck. My feeling is its the feul line or fuel filter. Ugh!!!! Any advise would be welcomed.
