For information leading to solving my enigma.
I posted this issue last night as a newbie but I thought the reward might get more attention.
After warming up and going into closed loop a few miles down the road the truck starts to stumble and sputter and is undrivable.
I started with fuel - the pump is good - the filter is new fuel regulator is new and the new installed pressure gauge reads nine Pounds.
Spark - I changed the distributor coil wires and plugs.
Vacuum - all vacuum components and hoses are new and have been changed.
Injectors are new and throttlebody gasket is new.
One by one I changed all of the sensors on this truck. Not all at once but by reading various forums and symptoms I would change the knock sensor the coolant temperature sensor etc. etc.
Until eventually all of the sensors including the oxygen sensor have been changed. ( some of them more than once assuming that one or two might be defective )
I brought it to a GM dealership out of frustration and after four days of diagnostics they could not figure out the problem all of the sensors read okay with their fancy snapon scope.
There are no error codes
I purchased an OBD one cable online and downloaded diagnostic software and can email anyone interested the datafile.
In order to drive the truck I need to unplug the oxygen sensor in order to force the truck into limp mode so that I can drive down the street.

Seems you have put a considerable amount of cash into your truck.
Engine check light on? If so what is the code?
Need basic info.....
Engine size, tranny, type of fuel you are using (regular, hi-test, ethanol)
Describe in better detail what the truck does when it sputters. Does it shut down and stall?
Is the BCM (Body Control Module) if your truck is equipped with it OK?
You running OBD 1 or OBD 2?
you can private message me if you wish.
