Going for the first oil change on my slightly used 2005 cavalier and when I bought the filter it is a cartridge type. Looked all over can not find the filter housing. I noticed a black cap on the right side of the car near the intake with like a 3/4 nut on it . Am I on the right track. Ecotech 2.2

yea that's it it's a 1 1/4 i think and the ac delco filter is a pf456g it hold 5QT oil
