Default 07 Suburban steering problem.

My 07 Suburban feels like its stuck in the mud if you crank the steering wheel one way or another. The harder you turn it, the more gas you have to give it to move.

glad you liked it!!

actually, was just trying to determine if its the normal wind up that occurs in all part time 4wd systems when in 4wd.

tech2,
I understand, it's just how you put it

Mark,
Please excuse our banty here, but tech2's question was quite valid.
Just to explain, when our 4WD vehicles are in 4WD, the front Axels are locked. If you try to turn L/R, the diameter of the turning circle is different for each wheel. That's why there is a "binding" feeling, and you have to accelerate to "push" through the friction caused by the attempt of different speeds of the front wheels.

IOW: is it possible that you have a 4WD capable vehicle, and have it in a 4WD mode ?
