Ok here's the problem i have a 1980 z28 mildly built, usually runs bout 70 psi cold then 40-50 hot, but the other when it was cold out i started it up and had no oil pressure until engine got warm and still only got up to 10 psi and it would drop when given throttle, im hoping faulty gauge but doubt it, anyone else had any problem like this, also motor still runs and sounds fine no knocking pingin or anything

Try putting on a mechanical gauge as a test to see what the true pressure is.

 

Yea im gonna go tmoro and buy another gauge to put on it and test and ill let ya know how that goes
