Default 1983 parisienne lowering

Hey guys new to forum. I have a 83 pontiac parisienne I wanted to lower it a few inchs just wondering where the best place to buy all the parts are? And I had trouble finding drop coils for my car or a caprice the same year so will a 90s caprice drop coil work? Will it make it a better handling car or should I just cut a turn or two out of my coils? What else should I do for a cheap way to help the car handle better?

Thanks in advance

would make a great low rider.
the best and safest choice is to buy lowering springs but they will probably run $400. I considered cutting my 88 crown vic but the coil seat shape prevented this. heating the springs is a bad option.
I will see if I can find the site i went to that made them for the vic.
