Default 1989 Mercruiser 350 SB rocker arm installation

I purchased a boat that had all the rocker arms loosened up so the valves would shut for a leak down test. I'd like to re-install the rockers and try to get the motor started. Can someone share the proper steps to re tightening the rocker arms? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd

If it has Solid Lifters...
Find the Low side of each Camshaft Lobe, and adjust clearance just wide of manufacturers specs. Run engine to operating Temperature and readjust as per instructions.

If it has Hydraulic Lifters then read this...
