I have a 1992 Chevy C1500 Silverado 1/2 ton 2WD 4.3 manual transmission. I have a no start issue. When turning the ignition, I get absolutely nothing.
I can hear the fuel pump engage and I have power from the battery. I have a brand new starter, ignition lock cylinder, ignition switch, and the switch that is connected to the clutch. I did a tune up two months ago with new plugs and wires.
The truck will take a push start and run just fine, but will not start with key.
Please help.

 

Did this start happening after work had been done to the truck?
Check the switch on the clutch for proper operation.

 

No work had been done when this came about. I checked the switch, brand new and working properly.
