I'm about to take a sledge hammer to this damn car to shut the door chime off. Anyone know where it is? I've got the lower part of the dash loose but I don't know what I'm looking for except a black box that's supposed to be on "the convenience center" what ever that is. Details please.

 

Did you check your door switches to make sure they are not faulty?

 

If the door switches were bads I would think the dome lights would come on with the door chime. They don't. I suspect an ignition switch problem.
