Default 1996 1500 Horn Problem

I have a 1996 1500 Conversion Van with 171K miles. I had a problem with the horn a while back where is would stick and not shut off. I disconnected the horn and after a while reconnected it. Now my horn will not work at all. All of the connections seem fine, but I am not sure if a fuse is out or even if a fuse exists. I need to get the horn working before I take this back on the road. I live in Chicago and the horn is definitely a defensive weapon I need.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

First check if the horn itself is broken. You can simply do that by connecting the battery to the horn.
(Negative cable from the horn to the chassis of your car (iron part...) and then a positive wire from the horn to the + of the battery. It should start blowing as soon as it connects).

If you hear a noise...the horn is still working properly. so thats when you need to check the fuse of the horn. (Just follow the wiring untill you bump into a fuse. It"ll probably be somewhere under your steering wheel.)

Hopefully by then the problem is solved. Because , otherwise you'll need to remove a part of your steering wheel to check the connector underneath it.
